To identify some 8.2 Liter injectors, look on the body of
the injector above the rack. There may be a letter and a number stamped on the
flange in this area. Use this chart to identify your injector based on this number:
If you cannot identify your injector using this method, you
will need to check the stamping on the plunger. To remove the plunger, push the
spring follower down and twist it counter clockwise to dis-engage the plunger. Lift
the follower and plunger out of the injector. The numbers are etched on the plunger
near the top.
